Peas Pulao

Peas pulao is a simple process of preparation, with less spicy and immediate preparation. Since ghee is added to this dish the rice will give rich look and flavour.

Peas Pulao

Ingredients for Peas Pulao

  • Basmati rice – 250 gms
  • Green chillies 4 No’s
  • Garlic flakes 8 cloves
  • Garam masala ½ tsp
  • Curd 150 ml
  • Ghee 4 tsp
  • Cumin seeds 2 tsp
  • Peas 150 gms
  • Ginger 1 tsp
  • Onions 3 No’s
  • Salt 2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder ½ tsp
  • Water 500 ml

Preparation of Peas Pulao

  • First clean and wash rice for twice and soak rice.
  • Make the paste of green chillies, ginger and garlic.
  • Drain the soaked rice and mix with the paste and curd and keep aside.
  • Keep it for a while for around 30 minutes.
  • Heat the cooker, add ghee, one the ghee is heat add cumin seeds, onion fry for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Know add the peas cook for 1 or 2 minutes and add mixed rice and fry for 3 minutes.
  • Then add water, garam masala mix well, add salt to taste and cook the rice with closed lid,
  • Remove from flame after one vestal.
  • And keep it aside till the pressure is removed
  • Finally garnish with chop coriander leaves, and serve hot.
